WHAT??? They arrested the thief?

STOCKTON, Calif. — Days after a viral video showed a would-be thief get beaten by 7-Eleven clerks, Stockton police said they arrested that man after learning he was connected to multiple robberies and other crimes.

Earlier, the police department said it was investigating possible assault charges as the video shows the clerks clearly restraining the man believed to be Frazier and beating him repeatedly.

On Tuesday, the district attorney's office asserted that it is only investigating the would-be thief shown in the video.

  1. Only After they discovered he had been doing it in other places? Hell, I've been reading they are trying to figure out if they can prosecute the guys who whipped his sorry ass! The people need to let the cops know they are not on board with punishment for people who stop crime. And For punishment for criminals.

    1. The c I s have no say in those decisions. They are nothing more than tools. The DA and mayor are the ones who need to be getting a message.

  2. No, they found the victim so they will have a complainant, this way they can charge the store owner.

  3. "...they are not taking it personal". So basic grammar is optional to be a 'reporter' any more.

    1. Bear in mind that said "reporter" was required to have at least an AA, more likely a BA, degree to get the job. The mind reels...

  5. While LEO are criminal gangs it's the legal guild that rules us. LEO hasn't much ability to actually charge anyone, they can only write up the story and hand it off to the lawyers for a decision. I doubt the store keepers will be charged for subduing an armed and threatening indigent. Instead we'll pay for a gaggle of lawyers on both sides and the perp - a victim of society - will have to play along with a govt. social worker for a little while.

So it's all good. Open your wallets a little wider for social justice.

  7. The DA's office claiming to not be investigating might be true, but they didn't say they won't charge and prosecute the clerks.

  8. If the city doesn't charge them, then the county will. If not the county, then the state will. And if all that fails then the feds will charge them. You can't let people go unpunished beating on a BLMer. Similiar thing happened at a austin protest/riot. Someone pointed a gun into a car and the car driver killed him. City passed on charging the driver. So the county convicted the driver of murder. Austin/travis county is as wacked as san francisco. Austin is an example of commiefornia voters fleeing and the damage they do.

    1. Didn't or isn't the Gov on record to pardon that guy?

      But I get your point.

  9. As I understand it from several news stories, the Texas governor can recommend a pardon to the Pardon Board, but can't do it hmself.

    Those Hindus don't f#@k around.
They realized if they went that route, the clerks were going to bring a whole clan of their Thuggee relatives and give the cops an ass-whupping they'd never forget.

  11. The clerks were beating the offender because they were waiting for the police to arrive. They were in fear of their lives if he got loose.
    How does that sound?
