OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The staff at a new high School set to open next month in Oakland is now scrambling after being hit by burglars.

Over the weekend, the independent high school in East Oakland, serving gang-impacted youth was burglarized. Eight laptops, several projectors and microphones were stolen. The school's co-founder, Cesar Cruz says they are not taking it personal.
Do sheep take it personally when the wolf rips a chunk of their butt off? Does the emotional condition of the victim change the situation? I'm Sure the Gangs WANT the kids in the neighborhood to grow up and be good boys, have a future and the neighborhood go all Leave it to Beaver.
They'll get flooded with money from all the Right People, the founders will skim it off, and in a few years they'll quietly close it and declare victory.
It is impossible to civilize these children. Lack of proper upbringing and low IQ dooms them to a life of crime and misery. No public funds should be wasted on them.

ReplyDeleteApparently, the school wasn't teaching English. It's "take it personally", not "take it personal".
