Haley Lays Out Economic ‘Freedom Plan,’ Packed with Promises of Tax Cuts, Entitlement Reform and Regulatory Relief

Declaring that it’s time for Washington to start working for Americans and not the other way around, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley laid out her economic “Freedom Plan in a speech Friday in New Hampshire.

The former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador is proposing a litany of middle-class tax cuts, regulatory relief and “third rail” entitlement reforms in a proposal she asserts will check communist China aggression through American prosperity.

In short, it’s time to unshackle the freedoms that President Joe Biden and the administrative state have been grabbing from the American people, Haley said.

  1. My cousin in SC was always of the opinion that Trump saw how bad a governor she was so he appointed her to the UN position. A position that she could easily be fired from if she didn't push his agenda and one that would end her political career.

  2. She said plenty when she was Governor here in SC, didn't do a whole lot. Gave huge tax breaks to lure BMW, Boeing to SC and then turned around and upped the social programs spending for illegal aliens. Notice in the article she mentioned "Social Security and Medicare won’t survive the first half of the 21st century"? It's always SS & Medicare are running out of money but never welfare, EBT, Medicaid or benefits to illegals. I give her a 2/10, same with Tim Scott who btw, got his shot at Senator courtesy of Mrs. Haley.

  3. Her real name is Nimrata Ranhawa and she needs to go back to her home nation, India. She is a tool of the global controllers and is no good anyway.

  5. All nice sentiments, but she’s not saying anything that most establishment Republicans wouldn’t say. As high as taxes are, I don’t care about tax cuts anymore. We have a communist assault on all American institutions, and we need somebody who will stand up and turn back the onslaught.

  6. Remember in reality we have one party and distractions enough (about little things) so you won't notice.
    Seems to be working too...

  7. Well, it was going to be either Nikki Haley or Elizabeth Dole cluttering up the field and one of them is dead. At least we can be thankful that Rick Santorum has learned to stay out of the limelight and I just jinxed that, didn't I?

  9. Am I wrong, or did she forget to mention Welfare, Medicaid, Section 8 Housing, Food Stamps. Yes SS and Medicare are entitlements, because we paid into them and expect a return on our investment. The rest are just vote buying giveaways!
