Looks like somebody needs a boot shoved up their ass

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WAVE) - Helping someone move may be one of life’s rites of passage.

It’s not easy, and one challenge is trying to find a place to park during the process.

Tim Heil was helping his daughter move to a new apartment before her final semester at Western Kentucky University.

He contacted the WAVE Troubleshooter hotline because the day he was helping his daughter load their UHaul and his truck, the apartment complex’s towing company booted his pickup.

  3. That is a good reason to keep a cordless Milwaukee M18(or whatever brand you prefer 4 inch grinder on board . "You sure you want to leave that boot on my wheel ?" Ok let the sparks fly !

  5. This happens at apartment complexes in all college towns. Both of my sons had this issue when they were in college. These companies get paid to patrol the parking lots and boot people all the time. It's just another racket.

  6. It's funny. I just started watching a Youtube guy who owns a towing company in Gatlinburg, Tn. He seems okay, but like most towing companies, you know there's something really greasy going on.

  7. It would really be too bad if the tires on their wreckers somehow got slashed. Wonder how that could happen????

  8. A few years ago, there were a lot of complaints in Kalamazoo, Michigan about apartment resident's cars being towed from apartment parking lots. These were cars with parking permits in the windows. That sounds like grand theft auto to me, but authorities would not investigate, and the owners had to ransom their cars from the tow companies.

Kalamazoo is a college town - population about 73,600, and 16,600 students at Western Michigan University, plus two smaller colleges.
