Where bad choices make good stories
Okay, I don't let them get this far gone, but close.
Got a few good years left as a boning knife.
One of the local packing plants sells their old boning knives at local auctions. Some of them look close to that but still cut.
Mine thin down but the edge straightens out as it goes. Musta hit that one with a steel a million times a day
In Gangs of New York Butcher Bill's knife looked like that, showing much use.

I've a paring knife from my father that's not much better than that.
Electric sharpening machines are murder on good knives.
