    1. It looks like a Trapper BP cap and ball pistol with the end cap removed.
I have one in .50 cal.

  5. might be homemade too. there a bit to be said for a single barrel large bore pistol.
might even be black powder one too, people forget that BP firearms killed a lot of people before the rise of newer powders and guns. dave in pa.

  6. Lookit them boots - she is a Farm / Ranch Girl. They are a partner, not just a companion that are built to last, if you treat them right. If you don't treat them right, they just stomp you into the dirt and move on.

    1. Her boots were the first thing I noticed. My first thought was "There's a gal that would be glad to help you pull a calf".

    2. Now you get to explain to all my city readers what you mean by pulling a calf.

    3. Well if you have to explain pulling a calf you might as well explain cow tipping as well... You're welcome, lmfao

    4. Probably the easiest way to describe it:
Imagine, if you will, you're a bovine OB/GYN, your patient's baby is a tight fit and needs a little help escaping from the birth canal.

    5. Or its head is turned, or its hooves are tucked under. I saw one of my friends’ dads use a come along on a poor, little calf once. Well, he wasn’t actually little, which was the main problem.

    6. You haven't lived until your arm is shoulder deep in a cow's uterus, attempting to wrap a small chain around an unborn calf's front hooves by the braille method.

  7. Looks like a old .22 converted into pistol form. I think I would have chosen something else that wasn't single shot.

    1. I think that's a NFA violation unless she's paid $200 for a tax stamp.

    2. Smooth bore .22lr cut down to carry size for rat/mouse interdiction in & around the barn. A working tool if there ever was one! Yeah NFA I know. Fuck em!

    4. Look twice. There's no bolt handle on her handgun.

    5. Look up "Trapper" black powder pistol and imagine it without the brass end cap.

  9. Gun babe at Wal mart. Check the shoes. Is that a single shot?

  10. I actually think that's for dispatching livestock.

  11. The cocking piece does look like an old 22 that's been cut down. Not that I mind or care, but that's a low dollar way to get a federal SBR charge.

    1. No, the lock work and trigger shows that it's back powder. Also the pistol grip is too long and too sharply angled for it to be the grip of a rifle that's been cut down.

  12. Looks like a Diablo pistol. Perfectly legal if somewhat impractical. https://americanguncraft.com/product/diablo-12-gauge-pistol-nickel-with-black-or-rosewood-finish-grips-available-soon-place-your-backorder-now/

    I could be wrong.

    1. The Diablo is a break-action. The one the girl is wearing has solid wood under the barrel from the handle to the fore-end, no hinge in that. There doesn't seem to be room for a bolt-action or other breech mechanism, so it seems to be a muzzle-loader.

You know what that means - if she has to use the pistol, she only has one shot and she'll kill you with it.

  13. I know what it is.
    It's a Bubba Special.
