Piss Poor Prior Planning (or bringing the Word to the entire town)
WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Wilson County is sending a clear message to a church that has sparked much controversy over the past year—Global Vision Bible Church (GVBC).
It looks like they're trying to pass a bill of attainder. One of our county supervisors tried to do essentially the same thing to a logging company a few years ago. He got slapped down pretty hard.
“'I can say it was not a success, and I have a bill right here I’m fixing to send them [Global Vision Bible Church] because it cost $7,500 to pay for that. So, I’m sending them a bill,' said Robert Bryan with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office."
Look past the end of your nose. Sheriff departments are budgeted just so much money. If they use it paying officers overtime to unfuck a mess that could've been prevented with a little prior planning, something else gets neglected.
Celebrating the second coming of our savior is terribly upsetting to the current moneyed interests. As they know for certain for whom that bell tolls. They would rather ignore truth, civility and morality while they can...
I don't know about that but I can tell you it's annoying as hell to try and have a relaxing afternoon in you backyard when some overblown asshole on a loudspeaker screaming his come to jesus crap... Makes a man want to send him there on the express line.. JD

I figure that there is more to this story than the article says. If you've seen Locke on youtube, you know he doesn't toe the politically correct line. Not sure why they are in a tent instead of a building. There could be a backstory there too. sunny
Buildings are expensiver than tents. Building codes,, reason.. Aaand, IF the Pastor is a known political gadfly, maybe it's a ploy to Hit His RAAHTS violated by Da Mayun, so he can sue them. Sounds like this guy brought the pot, loaded it,and is currently heating and stirring it.
Aren't churches like these usually located "just off the highway on the frontage road"?
