Ray Epps pleads guilty to misdemeanor over Jan. 6 riots

Ray Epps has pleaded guilty to disorderly or disruptive conduct in connection with the January 6 riots.

Epps, 61, was charged by the Department of Justice on September 18 over his involvement at the US Capitol fracas.

He has now pleaded guilty to the one misdemeanor count of disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds during a virtual hearing.

No surprise here. The feds had to do something in an effort to cover their asses.

  1. So - is the asswipe gonna get 10-20 like the rest of the misdemeanor miscreants? No. They did this as an attempt to stop all the uncomfortable questions. Fail First Class.

    1. No need for a plea deal as I understand it, charges not filed for the event are now moot, you can't be tried twice for the same event. He's free as a bird (until karma catches up with him)....

  6. He plead guilty so as to avoid a trial, which would have opened up discovery and uncovered who he really was working for, and probably a lot more. Just more BS coverup at work. I doubt he'll serve much of a sentence. As soon as attention is elsewhere, they'll let him walk. Probably as a rich man. Someone ought to monitor all his financial accounts for the rest of his llife, and trace back where the money is coming from.

    1. No need. Obama already thought of that. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/05/18/memorandum-on-restoring-the-department-of-justices-access-to-justice-function-and-reinvigorating-the-white-house-legal-aid-interagency-roundtable/

  10. Kenny you might find this funny, I was watching some stupid news report talking about “domestic terrorism” groups. They were talking out of their ass about the Oathkeepers, the Proud Boys and the III’s. Are the 3%ters a thing anymore? I thank you for writing about them, cause I thought they looked interesting.
