San Francisco embraces the Covid Suck

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A spike in COVID-19 cases this summer has Bay Area families searching for COVID at-home test kits. Health experts says the tests have been hard to find, and some stores have sold out.

  1. Test kits come from China and the swabs are soaked in ethyl oxide which is highly toxic and is actually labled a carcinogen by the cdc. Go figure

    1. If the cdc calls it "carcinogenic" then in California it would be labeled "plutonium."

    2. Ah, yes. California. Where the sawdust is carcinogenic.

"WARNING: Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/wood."

This is particularly ironic for me because I've spent over five decades working in California as a logger and at a sawmill and have cut hundreds of cords of firewood in my lifetime, never wearing a mask, and have lived to tell the tale.

  2. Wouldn't it be interesting if the powers to be in SF went after covid with the same ferocity as they went after AIDS in the 1980s

    1. What if your government caused AIDS, COVID, Autism, and many others to begin with?

  3. Hopefully, all those nice Bay Area folks will rush out and get the latest Modified RNA booster shots, which are safe and effective and prevent infection and transmission of this very serious disease.

  4. They're sitting right next to the flu tests. Families searching everywhere should look there.
    You test for the flu?

  5. Finding a store that is still open is a greater problem in SF.

  6. For the "people" in SF, skin a banana, take a bite, leave it on the counter for 5 days. If it turns brown, you've got covid.

  7. The C tests are bogus BS, I got a couple to test after being exposed (pushed by work and family), the instructions specifically state a neg results is not necessarily an indicator you do not have C. In other words, only a positive result is considered accurate. What a crock.
The couple of times I tested positive, I believe they were a result of my chronic sinus problems....no symptoms of any kind at all. Of course, I had been taking a lot of Vit C and a multiple vitamin daily for decades and after the plague (as I mockingly call it), upped the doses of C and added Zinc, D and E.
