Here are the Supreme Court’s biggest cases this term

The Supreme Court justices will take the bench Monday for the first argument of the new term, a year filled with battles over guns, social media and the administrative state.

The court so far has agreed to hear roughly 35 cases this term, though the justices are all but certain to add more throughout the fall. Decisions are expected by next summer.

The Supreme Court and other federal courts plan to continue operating even during a government shutdown, at least in the short term.

  3. You might think the 2nd Amendment case would be the most important one, but I think that the Chevron case will be more important to the American way of life.
If the decision goes the right way, it could lead to government agencies like the BATFE and the Dept. of ED, the Dept. of the Interior, et al, being forced to stop making laws, which the congress is charged with doing. No longer will congress be able to pass the buck on that one.
Imagine if the Dept. of the Interior can't make rules having to do with what the public lands are used for, or BLM not able to allow the same thing in regards to oil and gas leases.

  4. "... since their landmark expansion of gun rights last summer..."

You misspelled "restoration" of gun rights.

Don't know about the bumpstock ban right offhand, but there was a ruling for an injunction on the pistol brace this week:
