Commentary: Elites Are Confounded by Populist Sentiment and Surprised Their Failures Are Fueling Their Ouster
American populism’s rise is directly connected to the failures of our self-styled elites. American elites have in numerous instances missed the coming of important crises, some of which they have caused. Average Americans have borne the brunt of these crises. Today’s populist rise is simply the people’s recognition of the elites’ hypocrisy and culpability in what they have had to endure.

Modern day version of the peasants with pitchforks and torches at the king's castle gates.
ReplyDeleteElite lives matter more.
ReplyDeleteLots of words there and truthfully I didn't read it all....... But as an American citizen that has been around for awhile and actually saw the government change I understand perfectly what is going on... I could use thousands of words to express how we feel about our government and what they have done to us and our country but I won't... Instead I will say this, we are fed up with their bullshit, their arrogance and their self entitlement, we are done with all of you and we are no longer just going to hold our nose and elect you useless POS anymore...
ReplyDeleteFUCK YOU 🖕

There aren't enough lamp posts....
ReplyDeleteI say we find out.
DeleteI’m down with that.
DeleteThe lamp posts and the rope are re-useable...
DeleteUnfortunately, the vast majority of Americans on "both" sides of the political aisle, still don't get that there is ONLY ONE PARTY, simply with two faces. They BOTH work for the elites and both hate us all. Until enough wake up and figure out that GOVERNMENT ITSELF is our common enemy, this tyranny on behalf of the elites will continue unabated.
ReplyDeleteYep, people are too hung up on their red team/blue team sportsball culture attitudes. People don't vote for who they like, they vote against those they most dislike. The other team. Most of the rulers are reelected, I'm not seeing much ousting. The Party will game any primary with a viable challenger by diluting the votes against an incumbent.
Delete"they vote against those they most dislike"
DeleteAnd then they'll call you an idiot if you vote for who you think is the best person for the job instead joining them in voting against who they hate.
And as always, FUCK JOE BIDEN!
ReplyDeleteVlad Tepes had a good solution we could try that.
