A photo circulated on social media showing a Bella Vista High School homecoming float with a "cops and robbers" theme that included a young Black man dressed in an orange jumpsuit as a robber behind bars on the float. It appeared, based on the photo, that the students who portrayed officers were all White.
In most cases Racist and Realist go hand-in-hand

The ethnic makeup of males in CA prisons is approximately 30% black whereas they only represent about 6% of the population. This tells me the HS float is an accurate depiction of reality. White people have to stop pandering to the criminal element in society. I’m fed up with muhdiversity.
ReplyDeleteIf the cops were all white, that's not an accurate depiction of reality anymore. In every American city now, there are lots of black cops arresting black criminals - and after a few years experience, the black cops are as prejudiced as the white cops.

"Moving forward, we're told all high schools in the district have to consider inclusion and equity before deciding themes in future events."
ReplyDeleteSo, what's the problem? The float's creators included both blacks and whites in their float and equally placed both races in starring roles.
I swear, these people have no sense of humor.
I'll bet the black kid behind bars on the float had a great time.
Well if the shoe fits too tight....
ReplyDeleteSeems an apt portrayal of reality to me.....but then, I am a realist....idealist may see it another way, I suppose....along with blacks and other racists....
ReplyDeleteMe and a buddy did something similar in 1982.
ReplyDeleteNot a float, but a wall poster.
There was no news coverage, but damn did we feel the heat from the principal, Merlin, the Magician.
That guy still gives me the shivers 40 years later.
Way to true to life for these whiny bitches

Truth is a difficult pill for leftists to swallow....
ReplyDeleteWhat are they complaining about--it fits the media narrative, doesn't it?

To fight racism, the District is going to the Black Student Union to expand programs that only benefit students of one color.
ReplyDeleteThe NFL is fighting racism too, by painting "End Racism" in their end zones.
DeleteOughtta work.
