I do a back roller. My girl Maggie Mae thinks it's effection time. I'm ok with it until her nose hits my armpit. We've had chats about that on several occasion.
Our girl was like that. She loved affection. Had to put her down a week ago yesterday at three-and-a-half. Epilepsy took her. She started experiencing cluster seizures, and my wife took her to the vet in the morning. She was put in IC, and the vet tried to break the cluster-seizure cycle with a phenobarbital IV when she went into a seizure that lasted 20 minutes before the vet made the call to sedate her. She then called my wife and said it's time to put her down. First time I've ever had a vet make the decision. We never knew just how sick she was. Back in August she had a bout of cluster seizures, and the vet put her on Keppra in addition to the phenobarbital she took twice a day, and that seemed to take care of the breakthrough seizures...at least until last week.
She was a blessing to us, and she is missed. The house isn't the same without her.
Of course that means, up.

My sympathies. I know how you feel, I lost my little dog Legal Lucy to the same thing about 2 1/2 years ago. I still think about her every day.
