yeah, I have two brothers like that. I used to just stare at them when they used to asked me why I didn't just buy something. as my dad used to say, the most expensive 20 minutes of my life and I am still paying for it. dad had 6 kids. dave in pa.
Liberty gun safes - the guys that provide law enforcement the combination free for the asking. Nice collection of firearms but I' would probably select another safe if I were buying one nowadays. That is a lot of child photos on the wall so this is probably a family guy.
I'm going with he's divorced, kids grown and moved out, no girlfriend.
As for the safe, I'm going out on a limb here, but probably 95% of the safe companies out there will do exactly what Liberty did, Liberty just was unfortunate enough to get caught doing it. As many have stated, no need to sell it. You can buy a different lock and install it yourself. But once you die and the kids don't have the code, they'll be taking an angle grinder to it.
This photo times the millions of Americans that have weapons like this guy is why our nation is left alone because the enemy does not know who has what to protect themselves against the enemy. The government is working very hard to make us an unarmed nation, well too bad not going to happen because WE THE PEOPLE that have weapons remember history & the current events of Israel remind us to hold fast to our weapons, keep the powder dry and be on guard.
Talk about "Over Kill"! I love my guns, and love to go to the range to fire a few of them (8) at a time. But I don't understand the need for this kind of gun arsenal. Then I don't understand why people love liver, too. I guess to each his own.
If its his passion, then let him be. To an anti-gunner, your 8 firearms are 8 too many. Whether you have 8 guns or 100, you can only shoot one at a time. Besides, he's obviously proud of his collection, and judging by what I can identify, he has an eclectic taste. More power to him...!!!
Well people like to collect things, some are old cars, motorcycles, airplanes, shoes, handbags, hats and so on..... Many men, especially, like to have a nice gun collection, the type, brands, uses and number is what makes it nice.. JD
Anon @ 0817. Go with Rhino/Bighorn safes out of Caldwell, Idaho. Well built, I think you can still order one without the damn electronic lock. My understanding is an electronic lock can be accessed and operated by someone with a laptop in under 5 minutes. I heard this from a locksmith.... Keep your powder dry, it's getting close. Prepare for power grid disruptions, possibly worse. https://youtu.be/qSn-hC9H-EM?si=dYbufTmnH5_Uyv8p God bless, Ken,
I never took a pic like that, but I do take pics of all my guns. Close ups that include serial numbers and show condition. For insurance reasons. I just never will post them online. But in case they ever drain that lake where I had that canoeing accident, we can go look for them.
Great collection and I wish they were mine. He looks like a dick with ears to me though... Why take that pic? Why feel the need? Some sort of insecurity?
He'll shoot his eye out!
ReplyDeleteHe'll shoot somebody's eye out...but I don't think it will be his.
DeleteYou don't know some of the folks I know.
ReplyDeleteMust have at least to more large safes.

ReplyDeleteI’d get rid of the gun safe and buy another brand.
ReplyDeleteNo, just change the lock to a different brand.
DeleteChange the lock to a mechanical three wheel, 1M combination lock....and X-ray resistant, too.

The man appreciates fine walnut, steel and classic designs.
ReplyDeleteHe is probably married to a curvaceous red-head.
Gonna need all that if, in an emergency, the neighbors know your faith encourages you to store two years worth of food in your house.
ReplyDeleteForget the curvaceous redhead, Gent spends his time either maintaining the collection or working to pay for it.

ReplyDelete"The enemy does not know who has what to to protect themselves..."
DeleteBut "the enemy" is working hard to change that; just as they were in the days of Jackboot Janet. (But we all knew that.)

That’s going to be an ATF haul photo if he keeps with Liberty. *which I’d bet this is before that clisterf*ck and he’s remedied it
ReplyDeleteNice collection, but questioning the wisdom of the shag carpet in front of the fireplace..
ReplyDeleteKenny, do you have any recommendations for a large gun safe (brand)? My wife has been bugging me to get one.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't. I bought my safe years ago so I honestly don't know, but how about I post your question and let the other readers give you suggestions?
DeleteCheck out Graffunder safes.
DeleteNot a bird hunter. Nice collection.

I say that is a good start….

ReplyDeleteThe joke's on them though; I've got more than that.

Memories of what life was like before the horrific boating accident.

I wonder what kind of bonehead takes a picture like this, and who he's trying to impress, that doesn't see him as a potential victim.

DeleteNice collection. I especially like the lack of tacticool black. He looks like he might snap. I wonder if the fibbies have set to work on him.
