The Late Hour of Our Republic

I am compelled by the late hour of our republic to recognize how far we have come and how far we have slipped. After centuries of rising from a mere rabble of farmers and shopkeepers, homemakers and nurses to one of the most powerful and wealthy nations on earth, it took next to no time to fall amongst the casualties of broken empires.

The end of the United States has already been accomplished, it’s just a matter now of how it unfolds. Those in the Executive branch of government have already committed the ultimate treason, the violation of the borders, the destruction of the nation’s security. Our enemies have been gifted an open drawbridge to the castle and our enemies have stampeded in. The nation’s people now must confront those enemies with the spears of their own soldiers at their backs.

  1. I've been saying for the last several years America is doomed and if you think it can be turned around you're mistaken. I don't think it could have been prevented even if it was as evident 50 years ago as it is today. Like people, social systems have a certain life span. Nothing is forever.

  3. The Republic is fine. It was never perfect and never will be.

Honestly, it is hard to believe the level of complaining, nay, whining that goes on here. Just stop.

    1. By 2027 interest payments on the national debt will exceed defense spending. Never mind Social security & medicare. $2 trillion deficits are the norm.

      National debt exceeds GDP

      Everything is fine said nero.

  4. Here's the thing: American cities are finished. They are no longer necessary to big business, as virtually (heh) everything that needs to happen in an office environment can now be handled remotely: it is no longer necessary to assemble a staff in one place. In fact it is too expensive in terms of office space and salary to do so.

The cities are thus in the process of becoming large encampments to house and feed the poor and have no other practical purpose -entertainment doesn't require theaters; good restaurants can survive outside the cities.

What this means for the future is unclear except that the cities cannot be "rejuvenated". It would take at least 5 years of National Guard level policing (with all crime punished severely) to start to turn things around. Frankly, America doesn't have the stomach for that kind of police state action and thus it can never happen.

Too long/didn't read version: the Republic IS dead; it just hasn't fallen over yet.

  6. "I will fundamentally change America".....Barrack Hussein Obama....it wasn't accomplished until the stupidity of Americans revealed itself by providing just enough votes for biden to enable the democrats to steal the election....then we were fucked....and are completely unable, or unwilling, to unfuck ourselves.....
