According to the arrest affidavit, on Dec. 10, around 12:28 a.m., an Uber driver picked up 27-year-old Neusha Afkami from a hotel to take her to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. On the way, the Uber driver said Afkami appeared upset due to how long it was going to take to get to the airport.
Wait, watch, nfeuke will claim her innocence due to racism because the airline wanted the flight to depart on time, with or without her ass.
ReplyDeleteAllegiant seriously aught to know by now to schedule their flights on CPT, and not EST.
After being away for 3 months on an overseas job and after flying for 36 hours, I was anxious to get home and I asked the driver to expedite and I gave him directions for the shortest route to my house. He took the longest route and seemed to be driving as sow as he could. When I finally arrived , he was waiting for a tip and I told him to get the fuck of of my property while showing him a 50 dollar bill that he could have had if he hadn't been such a dick.the
ReplyDeleteJust a note for those interested in such things. Texas doesn't charge people for car theft. They got rid of that and replaced it with "Unauthorized Use". Learned that while on Grand Jury duty. Same penalties as for what they used to call theft, but much, much easier for the DA to prove in court.
ReplyDelete"Afkami's case is just one of several bizarre stories...

"My advice to anyone considering taking an Uber and Lyft is to simply use self-awareness," Brogdon said."
Sounds more like those who are giving Uber rides are the one who need to be more self-aware than the passengers!
