Chicago voters won’t get chance to weigh in on sanctuary city status, City Council decides
CHICAGO - Mayor Brandon Johnson and his City Council allies on Thursday used a parliamentary maneuver to squelch an advisory referendum that would have allowed Chicago voters to weigh in on whether Chicago should remain a sanctuary city.

ReplyDeleteIn recent years Chicago, like many other Democrat run cities have turned from vibrant meccas into fetid zoos. Most of the indigenous denizens don't give a shit about anything other than doing drugs and finding targets to flash mob loot.

DeleteI took the time to read the entire article. It seems like there are some sane leaders in Chicago, but they are outnumbered by other leaders who have a much darker view of things. Pun intended, as it looks like many of the ones who still support the sanctuary city garbage only do so to keep control of their own jobs, with members of things like BLM and it's Latino equivalent.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that does give a ray of hope is that it appears a lot of the residents of Chicago have gotten fed up with being taken for a ride by illegal immigrants, who are so poor that they need public funds to feed and house them.
I know it sounds cynical, but when you see the drug cartels and the other criminals in Mexico charging many thousands of dollars to get these so called indigent people to our countries porous border, you have to wonder just how "poor" these people really are.
Just my opinion of course, but the Democrats are driving this nation to ruin faster than ever before. At this point, I don't care if our next president is a real alien, from the planet Zardoz. It would be better than what we are going through now with people in charge that have an agenda based on our destruction and their own Royal Class being in charge.
Oh, and Christmas is in 7 days. Better hurry up and put more money on those credit cards. It is the patriotic thing to do, apparently.
