#9- I fell off the roof while shoveling snow to cut down the weight and stop the old house my parents owned from caving in. I slid down with a sheet of snow but was lucky in that I hit the bank of snow below I had already shoveled off. I did go in legs first, and stopped at my crotch. It was not one of my proudest moments, but at least I was not hurt, other than the kick in the groin by a show bank. Just glad that I did not toss another shovel into the pile, as a pole to really screw me up.
#1: Fails Drop Check. OTOH, it looked like it was on the way to the scrapyard anyway. #2: Why bother? The roads are going to be just as bad. Stay home, take a Snow Day. #3: Dad's gonna be pissed. #4: HTH?? #5: The fan held out longer than I expected. #6: Oooh! You almost had it! #7: Stand by kid; it only gets worse from here. #8: See what I mean #7? #9: If you don't wanna help, just say so. #10: That is not how to lower that crane. Great selection this morning!
#10 - Chinese tofu-dreg steel, or they were tearing it down so cuts on the diagonal and horizontal cross braces then let it scissor? The guy in the foreground didn't look too concerned.
#3 BMWs of the '70s and '80s use trailing arms in the rear suspension. The rear end sticks until it suddenly lets go. Looks like they need a new rad. #10 If you look closely there are cables on the right that are released before it collapses. Al_in_Ottawa
