Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says a pre-planned robbery with a fake gun outside a Davenport motel turned deadly for the suspect late Tuesday evening.
The police comment at the end was the best part... "if someone had just loaned the guy money for a fix, he would be alive" to paraphrase. There is so much wrong with all of that... just, why can't all parties here lose?
We have "Good Samaritan" policies that exempt those who thought they were doing good from being prosecuted when their best intentions do not provide the intended outcomes. How about we enact "FAFO" laws that let Darwininan outcomes play out as Nature intends?
Well, that was confusing. Guy and dealer get held up, Guy shoots robber dead, and dealer is up for murder?
ReplyDeleteGrady loves to tell the stories about the dumbasses in Polk County.
ReplyDeleteHis Ytube page showing the latest arrests is great
