The only profitable part would be the cash drawer with the till in it. Not sure how the register matters. I install and configure these fossils as part of my job for WM (They are like 20 year old tech, but bulletproof 19 years later). There is no single register in any walmart that has it all and can be carried out like at a quickie mart. Whole register has the logic, a 20 lb CPU, the belly scanner, another 20 lbs wired to the logic, the card/debit reader security screwed to the belt unit along with the monitor, a weight tree, a price tree, then the cash drawer (bolted down inside the cash wrap) with the till inside. Pretty sure the article left out details.
