Analysis: The GOP’s 2024 Blueprint to a Majority in the U.S. Senate

Republicans appear to be in a strong position to take back control of the Senate in 2024, where they only need to flip two seats, with numerous vulnerable Democrats set to appear on the ballot amid a contentious presidential election. 

West Virginia provides Senate Republicans with their best chance, as Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin decided not to seek reelection in the state that went for former President Donald Trump by nearly 40 points in 2020. Other pick-up opportunities are in red states like Montana and Ohio, as well as presidential battlegrounds like Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada.

    I can't get myself excited about that. I suspect that if the RINOs get a majority again, they'll just squander it again and/or do their typical RINO thing.

    I agree with you and Ed. The RNC couldn’t find their ass with both hands and a map.
    Even if they do take a majority, expect more of the same quisling, neutered, spineless crap the Rs are so famous for.

      While abortion opposition doesn't help, the GOP actually killed themselves. Just look at what they do and stand for these days. Look how many GOP people voted for liberal policy. Look how many support the status quo. There are only three or four that actually support conservative values and openly push for them. Anymore, the GOP is simply controlled opposition. Democrats introduce something way over the top, the RINOs water it down slightly through 'negotiation' and call it "VICTORY!!".
