When you consider a pizza just an open face sandwich with tons of cheese, there are a lot more acceptable toppings. Pastrami, dill pickle chunks, and mustard instead of red sauce is actually pretty good. I personally don't like sweet sandwiches, so I don't like sweet pizza.
A couple of months ago, I found a pretzel - pizza at the Sam's Club in house deli. I like pretzels and adding pepperoni and cheese on the top sounded good. It was good ! And only about $2 each, two of those and a coke for a bit over $5. Not bad but my doctors are gnashing their teeth.
Many years ago, I worked at a pizza restaurant in Atlanta that boasted 31 toppings, of which Anchovies and Pineapple were two of them. Another popular topping was Shrimp.
I would add Worcestershire sauce to the regular pizza sauce and top it with extra bacon and cheddar cheese as well as the mozzarella cheese. It sure was good.
If you leave off the mustard, that wouldn't be too bad, if you added bacon or chilli.

ReplyDeleteDon't forget the shredded coconut and maybe a dab or two of horseradish.
DeleteDepends on the hotdog, make mine all beef, I don't want a turkey or tofu dog.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the chilli and onions?

That yellow needs some contrasting color so where's the lima beans?
ReplyDeleteWell technically if you want contrast to yellow it should have been purple cabbage, but I like Lima beans too.
DeletePineapple yes. Anchovies no.
ReplyDeleteYou have that backwards.
