Commentary: David Frum and the Axis of Errors

Writing in The Atlantic, David Frum, former speechwriter for President George W. Bush and cheerleader for endless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Global War on Terror, warns us that if Donald Trump wins the 2024 presidential election NATO will be wrecked, our allies around the world will suffer “potential disaster,” and “above all” Ukraine will be left to the mercy of Vladimir Putin’s Russia. Given Frum’s track record of advice about wars, one wonders why anyone would take his advice. Frum (pictured above) takes credit for Bush’s phrase the “axis of evil” to describe Iran, Iraq, and North Korea. Frum’s advice about war should be labeled the “axis of error.”

  1. "If Biden wins, Russia loses its last and only route to victory and must accept defeat.”

Every time I read of Biden's supposed prowess at foreign affairs and how much he's respected by our allies and our enemies, I remember a line from "Treasure Island". When Long John Silver and the pirate crew were looking for Billy Bones' pile and Ben Gunn - a former crewmember who had been stranded there - was trying to scare them away, George Merry recognized the voice and said, "Why, nobody minds Ben Gunn. Dead or alive, nobody minds him."

Which is actually how our enemies and allies think of Biden.

  2. You lost me at David Frum, the Atlantic. With every major commie and every major commie/MSM outlet repeating the same line, ya gotta wonder: who told them all to say the same thing?

  4. Pudgy, soft handed fucks like this guy are a parasite on the American people.

I propose a constitutional amendment that will require ALL the children of national level politicians to serve as a riflemen in a line company of a rapid deployment infantry division. This will be for the duration their careers. No cooks, no "generals drivers", no orderly room, no contentious objectors. Girls too. Feminism won ladies, get on your fish-bicycle and handle your shit.

The ring of power must have a cost. As long as pudgy soft handed little fucks like this guy, and the politicians that he whispers his poison to can very bravely send other people's kids to die while their upper crust spawn are safely beyond the lines and out of trouble nothing will change.

Hell, I'll go ahead and say it...."no citizenship without service".

  5. Doc, fucking PERFECT. Removing the draft was the first real nail. I remember EVERY KID knew we were going to get drafted. It expired (sarc) before I turned 18, but that basic period of service molded MEN. In what, 40 years, we have crybaby bitches, living in mommy's basement, who're SCARED OF WORDS!!! GOOD GOD, HOW FAR WE'VE FALLEN.

    1. I'm sorry, but you misunderstand me. With the exception of the children of national level politicians, I don't advocate or believe in mandatory service.

That being said, I do believe that if one wants a say in our society, than one must have skin in the game. For far too long we as a society have allowed those with no skin in the game to be involved in the making of decisions that effect the lives of others. It's very easy to advocate war when you, or those you love, won't be doing the fighting. Insert a *slava Ukraine" here.

Only citizens should be involved in politics in any way. Only those who serve should be citizens.
