  5. Thought about it once for about thirty seconds. Took up motorcycles in stead. I figured out more ways to dump a motorbike, still takes a special level of crazy to ride a bull.

    1. Amen. The motorcycle usually doesn't try to come back and kill you after you fall off.

    1. Slim Pickens did that as a young man. He was posthumously inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs for his work as a rodeo clown.

When he signed up for his first bronc ride in a rodeo he asked the man what the prize money was and the reply came back, "For you, it looks like slim pickens". He entered by that name so his old man wouldn't find out and won $400 that day.

That's how he came to give himself his rodeo and stage name. True story.

  7. I've known a couple of old bull riders over the years. Their bodies were all fucked up. I know a former motorcycle racer as well. He's all fucked up too.

  8. Does the rating of the bulls improve based on
    1. Ejecting the rider into the stands.
    2. Distance of rider thrown.
    3. Height the rider achieves.
