I hear banjos

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Police say a missing teenager from North Carolina was found hidden under a trap door inside a Kentucky home on Christmas Day.

According to court documents obtained by ABC affiliate WTVQ, Zackary Jones, 34, is accused of taking the 16-year-old girl from her eastern North Carolina home and assaulting her physically and sexually.

The suspect accused in a bizarre rape case that spans several states is giving his side of the story from jail.

Zackary Jones is accused of multiple counts of rape and other charges. Police say a teenager from North Carolina who was missing for weeks was found with him at a Lincoln County home.

He claims from jail he was helping the girl. The girl’s family says that is far from the case.

  1. Guy bears an uncanny resemblance to an instructor I had in college who would go off on random left-leaning political rants and eventually ended up 'accidentally' shooting his girlfriend during a standoff with police. He then proceeded to continuously make up demands for special accommodations in prison (such as some certain religion he decided to join had specific dietary requirements that the church would deny even existed) and such.

So can't rely on stereotypes, but darned if they don't exist for a reason.

  5. I was born and raised in Lincoln County and, while the county may have gotten better because I left in 1964, Jones' activities are not a good look for the old home now. regards, Alemaster

  6. Asshole is lucky the cops found him first. Otherwise he might have ended up as pig food. Which would actually be a just and proper sentence.
