Tore up from the floor up

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Grand Ole Opry apologized for singer Elle King’s profanity-laced performance at the Ryman Auditorium to honor Dolly Parton’s birthday.

Videos on social media of King’s performance at the mother church of country music Friday show the singer struggling to perform Parton’s song “Marry Me.”

King told the audience she did not know the words to the song and asserted she was under the influence.

  2. Anyone who's surprised hasn't ever heard her before. I listened to about 5 minutes of one of her concerts and couldn't believe how few words she could string together without a f-bomb. Rob Schnieder must be so proud.

  3. Poor Hollyweird offspring, prolly never stood a chance. Checked out some of her past, was likely sexually, psychologically, abused, that's just how it is in "the business".

  4. I never heard of her before this. Probably won't hear much about her in the future.

  6. I think the album Ramble at the Ryman is a better use of the Ryman than that drunk. Very good album & video.

  7. Why didn't the organizers just stop her after the first couple of lines, go up on stage and kick her off? Tell her that she was done in Nashville. She is absolute crap.
