US appeals court revives Mexico's $10bn lawsuit against gunmakers

A US appeals court has ruled that a $10bn lawsuit filed by Mexico against US gun manufacturers can go ahead, reviving a long-running legal battle.

Mexico's government argues that the "flood" of illegal guns across the border is a result of "deliberate" business practices by the US gunmakers.

Maybe they should consider suing the US government for its wide open border. Or themselves for not keeping their own animals under control.

  1. I'm old enough to remember when the "flood" of illegal guns across the border was because of the ATF's Fast and Furious campaign.

  2. Maybe they should sue former U.S. A.G. Eric Holder for sending guns down there.

  3. They will never stop because it's not really the guns they're after, it's us, the guns are just in the way

  4. How about a little "tit for tat". Maybe they should sue the fentanyl manufacturers for the deliberate business practices by Beaner drug distributers

  5. Maybe the gun manufactures should consider not arming the American military for a year. That just might tell them to step up and put a halt to the BS things that they are allowing.
I always thought that no gun makers should supply to various law enforcement agencies, such as those located in California, New York, Massachusetts, and several other anti gun states. No guns, no ammo, no spare parts for their Glocks, Sig Sauers, etc. If the DBS that is done by pro Palestinian groups is perfectly fine with the Democrats in Washington D.C., it is just fine with me if the gun and ammo manufactures do the same, to put pressure on the very same groups that want their products but also want to control the gun makers to not make products for the civilian market.
Right now they are after the Lake City Group to stop them from selling excess ammo to the civilian market. It appears that they did just that in October of 2023.

  6. Does the lawsuit include the "Fast & Furious" crowd? Yeah, didn't think so.

  7. So we can sue them for illegal drugs and human trafficking then. I'm betting our damages are greater than theirs.

  8. So we get to sue Mexico and the Mexican Government for the costs of illegal drugs?

How about the cost of housing all the Venezuelan Migrants that the Mexican open border let pass to the US?
I can go on but you get the idea.

    1. Mexico already has. It's far harder to legally own, carry or buy a gun in Mexico than even NYFC or California.

  10. It's not the gun manufacturers. It is the cartels which Mexico tolerates causing the problem.
