Back the Blue and all that

LEXINGTON, Okla. (KFOR) — Tensions between Cleveland County Sheriff Deputies and Lexington Police Officers grew fierce after a disagreement Tuesday afternoon.

It was a call to Cleveland County dispatch that started everything. Three bounty hunters asked for help to bring in a wanted man from Tulsa.

“I’m a private investigator and a bounty hunter, and I was wondering if y’all have a sheriff’s unit that can meet us. We’ve got a big time felon, out of Tulsa. It’s an ex-Tulsa SWAT officer.”

    1. I generally pull for the Sheriffs. In my interactions with them, with one exception, they have always been professional and fair. Can't say the same about municipal police. With police "professional and fair" is an oddity.

  2. No matter what the City thinks, the Sheriff has prime jurisdiction. All Police and Law-enforcement are subject to his authority. Including any fedbois. Most Sheriffs do not enforce this but they should

  3. I sure would not want to get caught in the middle of a Big Pissing Contest , otherwise known as a Urination Confrontation . It might be amusing to watch, but woe onto them who are in between because the cops on both sides are pissed off and will take it out on everyone else .

  4. The county should spring for a few dozen pizzas and a case of Coca Cola and sit down with the city PD to smooth things over. It’ll cost a few hundred bucks, but any animus will evaporate!

  5. I live in in the area. The rumor is that the LPD was tipping this cat when county was coming.

    1. We use to have a P.D. Like that in one of our bordering parishes (counties). We learned to always call the sheriffs office if we were looking for someone because the P.D. Was crooked and would always tip off the suspect.

  6. Too bad the orcs did not start shooting at each other. If they treat their own orc in blue that way, what do you think they will do the unarmed, no uniform, Joe Public? Fookin detest orcs, I do. FFF/22BOH
