A man reportedly told investigators that his girlfriend from 60 years ago sent him a postcard in the mail and it made his wife, Bertha Yalter upset. According to an arrest report obtained by WPLG, Yalter, 71, allegedly tried to smother the man with a pillow. The arrest report also said that she allegedly tried to bite and hit him, WTVJ reported.

Insecurity and jealousy are not rational things. Unfortunately, women succumb to them readily, consider the elaborate stories they make up about ambiguous events that feed their own paranoia. On the positive side, that dude will get a break from waking up next to that, and she will probably get free housing/food/medical care at the hoosegow. Not a great retirement home for her, but it is another type of gated community.
ReplyDeleteThe jealousy never ends. My wife of 42 years still peers around corners and scopes out my emails, convinced that someone, somewhere, is trying to steal me away from her. We're in our 60s, for phuck's sake. If anyone else seriously wants this old bag o' bones, they can have me. Pennies on the dollar.
