  1. Kudos to the French Non-profit organization who put forth the effort to assist the Vance Family.
PFC Mose Vance, lost but never forgotten. Coming home to a faithful family.

  2. Apparent site of the battle is pretty close to the German border, near Karlsruhe. I imagine the krauts were desperate to defend the homeland. Would that some of us would be as determined to defend our homeland in these troubled times.

  4. Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother,
and my sisters, and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my people,
    Back to the beginning!

Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them,
    In the halls of Valhalla!
Where the brave may live forever!
