Often described as a portal to another dimension, Alcatraz is filled with the energy of those who came to the “Rock” and seemingly never left.
From its first visitors, tales and legends of the island have circulated for several centuries. In the beginning, the Native Americans believed the island to be inhabited by evil spirits.
I grew up in a haunted house. That was some scary sh3t. I'm a very, very heavy sleeper. That right there is scary as it takes a lot to wake me. I lived in a big ole 3 story house on the in a town on the side of the ridge. Lightning struck the house twice. The second time it blew all the plaster off the walls in one of the two rooms on the third floor. Thing is, when the lightning hit all the plaster (not plaster board) was stacked nice and neat in the center of the room. I could always feel a presence in that room and was terrified of door closing and locking on me whenever I had to go there. One night while sleeping in the room opposite something slammed my bed. I was half awake when it hit it again, it literally hit it so hard it rocked my head in my pillow. I thru the blankets over my head and tried to scream, but it felt like my stomach was wrapped around my spin. I was so terrified nothing came out of my mouth and I couldn't move.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in portals and stuff like that but I have been in places that I would call haunted. We have a place named The Myrtles Plantation a couple hours northeast of me. My then girlfriend, myself along with a small group of friends experienced some weird stuff when we visited the place several years ago... Nothing dramatic just cold spots in warm rooms, curtains moving but no air movement, one of the girls in our group said it felt like someone was playing with her hair and the constant feeling we were being watched......
