Knowing strong-willed skunk dogs like I do, there's one thing I can pretty much guarantee you. That guy would have followed that ambulance all the way to the hospital. There is no doubt in my mind.
I will say was surprised at the ending were they allowed dog into ambulance,feel might be the thing that helps keep the patient alive though,good call!
When I was a medic this happened to me. Guy was homeless, no place to leave the dog. The dog had jumped into the ambulance and hidden underneath the stretcher, no way to get him out until we removed the patient at the ER. Animal control met us at the ER and put the dog in a shelter until the patient was released. Surreal.
I can picture Asshole Jack doing the same!
