He's not protecting his young, that guy was long gone. Grabbing that guy's ass AFTER he had walked away was like shooting someone running away in the back and claiming 'self defense'. ALL fucking geese are like that...assholes.
I had one just like that sneak up behind me and grab my finger, leaving an inch-long ragged cut that should have been stitched up. Fucking asshole geese. Bright Eyes knows.
#8 - the big one comes in late thinking "I'll push someone out of the way to get the food." Had one cow that would do that and it worked...until the back end she picked to push out of the way was the bull. He turned around, knocked her over, and pushed her halfway across the pasture. Lesson learned.
#2…. We lived in Des Arc, Arkansas in mid 60’s…. Dad ran a logging company….If working East of Des Arc…. you had to go over….“The Swinging Bridge” over the White River…. to/from town….One lane, suspension bridge with….roadway wooden ties…. connected by steal cables…..If you met another car…. You had to back down to the pull off on the regular roadway…. and following a heavy truck was a treat….a swinging treat.
#9 You reach down and grab them by the neck. Ask me how I know this....
