  1. What, no Sun Records from the 50’s.

  2. That was exquisite. I've been screwed, blued, tattooed and come home with change to all those songs. Great selection Ken.

  3. How fortuitous that you put this here. I find myself listening to Youtube videos late at night when I can't sleep due to too long of a career spent on 3rd shift.
These songs are among the type that I find myself drawn to, more and more. No doubt most of the people who find themselves here are not too fond of what they call music today. I used to listen to country music in my youth spent with my parents, when they actually did have country music. While I have tried to listen to the stuff they try to pass off as country music today, I so far have been shall we say, disappointed with the offerings.
I also listen to the fantastic voices of the ladies who could melt your heart, like Jo Stafford, Dinah Shore, Julie London, etc. The list could go on and on, of course.
I had to toss the big word at the beginning just for fun. I don't actually speak with lofty platitudes and vociferous pontifications in real life. Have a great March and the crazy weather, pretty much all over the country.
