But did they get to see Taylor and Travis?

Some of the people who attended the near-record cold Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January had to undergo amputations after suffering frostbite, a Missouri hospital said Friday.

  2. That oughta make for some interesting barroom conversation:
Dude 1: How'd you lose your leg?
Dude 2: Landmine in Nam. Yours?
Dude 1: Waiting for Taylor and Travis.
Dude 1: Get the fuck away from me.

  3. If yer not smart enough to dress properly for the weather, or to get off the bleachers and go to where it is warmer, the you deserve to lose your fingers and toes.

No sympathy. It isn't like they had no choice to be there in the cold. They had options.

  7. My BIL used to have four season tickets for the Chiefs on about the 40 yard line. Then one day he was at a game with my sister and their kids and everyone was miserable because it was 30 degrees with sleet and he said "Why in the hell are we here, freezing our asses off, when we could be at home watching it on the big screen and I could have a scotch in my hand?" He sold the season tickets the next week. (Oh, and this was about 15 years ago when the Chiefs couldn't win a ball game if they tried. And they apparently didn't try.)
