Commentary: With RNC Shakeup, MAGA Brings Accountability to the Republican Party

An insidious institutional rot has long afflicted the Republican Party and the broader conservative movement. Historically, this has presented a vexing problem for grassroots activists desperate to change the status quo. Now, after Herculean efforts by players big and small, it appears that the rabble-rousing of the MAGA faithful is finally paying off.

  1. The article nails it. And while it took Trump to clean it up, the rot was apparent, and frustrating, decades ago.

  2. The Dems & Reps make up the Uniparty... we argue about the distractions while the big bucks/power keep going where they have gone.
Trump got into the White House thru the Repub door but he is not really a Repub in that he is NOT part of the Uniparty.
Not being part of the Uniparty is why the 24/7/365 attack on him from the day he announced he was running for President. It's why they bend/reinvent the laws to try and stop him, they have their plans and he is for America rather than the cabal running things..

  3. Really? The only accountability people see coming from the republican party lately is how they want to severly limit survivors Social Security benefits. That means my wife, who stayed home and raised our children into productive, God fearing Americans, while I worked and paid into Social Security, will have no benefits if I die before her.
Meanwhile, convicts that have never worked a day in their miserable lives, apply for and recieve SSI, because we have seen it happen up close and personally.

    1. Amen. Dems are the honest politician branch, they openly let us know how much they hate us and don't even bother to hide their corruption. GOP are backstabbers that pretend to be on our side.

That Sen. McTurtle from KY is the image that immediately came to mind after reading your "our greatest enemies lie within our own party" statement. Mitt is another. Of course we have plenty of RHINOS too.

  6. The GOP are the Washington Generals to the lefts Globetrotters. A wholly owned subsidiary. All the MAGA in the world isn't going to change that fact.
