Gov. Sanders mandates driver’s license gender must align with birth certificate
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration announced a policy Tuesday revising how gender is referred to on a driver’s license.
On March 12, Spokesperson Scott Hardin said effectively immediately, Arkansas driver’s licenses must list gender only as male or female, noting the gender must be what is listed on the license holder’s birth certificate.
