Indiana & Utah Governors Sign Second Amendment Privacy Laws

The Firearm Industry Trade Association, applauds Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox for signing the NSSF-supported Second Amendment Privacy Acts in their respective states. The laws will bar the use of a firearm-retailer specific Merchant Category Code (MCC) for banks, credit card companies or financial service providers to track the lawful sale of firearms and ammunition.

  1. It sounds like a good move on the part of the 2 states, but big companies like banks never let a law stop them from sucking the Democrats asses via the FBI & IRS before so why should it happen now.

  3. How's that gonna work? States have usury laws except the one or two (Delaware for sure) where the credit card companies/banks incorporate. Guess what good the usury laws are?

  4. As someone who just moved out of Utah, I will say he did this to curry favor as he is losing in the polls to a uniparty challenger. Utah isn’t as conservative as some would beleive.
