The NRA is great for one thing - taking your money. Gun shows / conventions are a close second.

NRA Life Member since 1972. (It seemed like a good idea at the time.) In recent years, not so much.
ReplyDeleteThe main failures have been the misapplication of resources, and compromises in the legislative arena.
The NRA/ILA should realign its efforts to reinforce those of GOA and CRKBA. By adding its weight, and enlisting support from the firearms industry, a united front could be formed.
This would be formidable opposition to the well-organized gun-grabbers.
I've got the membership renewal form sitting on my desk right now. I paid for a five year membership last time and that was less than half of what the NRA wants for a one year now.

That's wrong. What they want for the single year is a little over half the cost of the five year.
DeleteI have come to the conclusion that the media always screaming about the NRA was to convince the rubes to send their money in the NRA's direction, thereby diverting it from GOA, SAF, CCKBA, and other truly effective groups.
