Working with what you got

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is facing multiple charges after he reportedly attacked a woman with a smoker’s pole stolen from a Bell Road gas station. 

According to a Davidson County affidavit, officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon at a MAPCO in the 700 block of Bell Road on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Dispatch was told an unknown man stole a smoker’s pole at the gas station and may have hit somebody with it, but before police arrived, the individual ran off.

    1. Apparently one of those vertical ashtrays they place outside businesses' entryways, so smokers can discard their cigarettes before going in.
