most dogs just know who they have to protect. little kids and older folks do very well with big dogs like that one. used to know a very nice old lady who son had given her a huge pit bull pup and that dog loved her like no one else. she was safe as could be walking the streets of philly with "her puppy" he wasn't mean or anything. really a nice dog. just very protective of her. and her leash ? was a joke as the dog was a easy 100 pounds of bone and muscle. stayed right with her all the time. he was a very good dog. she used to walk to Redding market to buy ground turkey to cook up for her puppy every day too. him by her side and happy. she is one of the few people I miss about that town. always had something nice to say and give you a hug. with Thor, her dog watching you. print this or not, but the picture above just reminded me of her. dave in pa.
My boy Boudreaux loves getting a good scratching. He'll roll over and wait for the belly scratches..... Very protective of me and my grandson, they pretty much grew up together... Nobody is going to mess this lady with getting a whole lotta hurt.... Good boy JD
