  1. i have aways liked it, and is not as expensive as others, i don't care what a person drinks but after the first six or eight shots they all taste the same.
same as boons farm or md 20/20 vs chardonnay. party on dudes.

  2. With a Safeway Club card, 1.75 ml bottles of Evan Black Label are $18.89 per bottle when you buy six or more. The pre-Brandon price was $15.29.

  3. It’s prolly the best bargain whiskey you can buy. Goes good with coke zero and ice.

  4. Gibson's finest is really good if y'all can get it down there ... I'm up in Canada , found it almost everywhere heading west from MTRL Quebec , ( my local liquor store ordered it specially for me when I asked for a case to sell to me and anyone else to try ( gotta love small town living , just like y'all do ) Very good/smooth as good anything under $50 , and WAY 10X better than JD , ( JD is just rotgut to get drunk when you're young , LOL for kids who don't know any better ( ask me how I know , LOL ) , I agree with most of all that is suggested here , there's a lot of really good ones to sip and enjoy on a lazy evening by the campfire .. ( Yes , a lot of us Canadians are a lot more Southern type 'Merican than y'all might think )

  6. In Chicago we have Binney's. They sell a private label Clark & Sheffield Bourbon made by Heaven Hill. List price $16.99, on sale for $11.99 most of the time, and surprisingly good.

  7. Evan Williams was my father-in-laws daily drink. His drink of choice was Gentleman Jack of which I always kept a bottle in my bar. I like Irish whisky, Rye, and Scotch.

  8. Ezra Brooks was my choice based on the price to taste ratio.

Then it got hard to find.

Evan Williams is next on the list.

  9. I drank Daniels for years, switched to Evan Williams in the late 80s.
Half the price of Jack- I wouldn't switch back if the price was the other way around.

  14. Black label is the #2 best selling in the world right behind Jim Beam. They both go for about $30 a handle up here in yankee land.

  15. I've settled on Evan Williams 1783 small batch. I don't know if it's me but JD tastes different than I remember, I don't care for it now.

  16. EW white label bottled in bond/100 proof is the best bang for the buck IMHO. Good on the rocks, too. Beats hell outta any other budget brand as well.

Y'all take care & stay livin,
    Mike in FLA.
