SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- An East Bay couple is detailing the terrifying turn of events when a tow truck tried to tow them while driving through downtown San Francisco.
"We were at a stoplight and minding our own business," explains Joanne, who requested we use only her first name. She described running errands with her husband the morning of April 9.
Recently, on the local news, a Philadelphia resident recorded a tow driver take a portable 'No Parking' sign from his truck, photograph it next to a parked car, put it back in his truck, and tow the car.
Nothing a couple rounds through the back of the cab wouldn't fix.

Then put three through the radiator and the charge air cooler (if it's a diesel) so it has to get towed as well.
