#8 is a damned lie. Stop spreading it. Somali refugees started settling here in the early 90s and most of them came during the Clinton years and Dubya's first term. Omar's district has a population of 700K, yet there are only 76K Somali-born and first and second Minnesota-born in the whole state as of last year. She couldn't have been elected without huge support from the leftist whites in Minneapolis.
You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned leftist whites in Minneapolis. Between the Farmer-Labor Party and the ELCA, the land of one thousand lakes has been a lost cause for generations. The problem now is a lot of those old Parlor Pinks have left and settled in Arizona, totally tilting the political landscape to the far left. Sad that.
