Gov. Newsom, Legislative Analyst now mostly agree on estimated budget shortfall

After months of having two totally different projections, Gov. Gavin Newsom and the non-partisan Legislative Analyst's Office seem to be on the same page about the size of the state's budget shortfall.

Earlier this year, the governor estimated the figure at $38 billion, while the LAO stated it could reach up to $73 billion.

    2. Haven't you heard, Honkey? ALL Californians are stupid Newsom ass-lickers. Even if they're fifth generation ranchers that live in rural NorCal counties that voted for Trump by margins of 65% in 2020.

      But God forbid they move into the whiners' states and pollute their 'Conservative' politics. After all, Californians are all the same.
