Pete Buttigieg Blames Recent Boeing Incidents on ‘Climate Change’

Joe Biden’s Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, has claimed that the spate of recent Boeing incidents involving turbulence is due to “climate change.”

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Buttigieg predicted that turbulence is something that will continue to “affect American travelers, whether here or abroad.”

  3. Since the FAA mans doplar to look for turbulence and informs planes of it, I'm guessing the problem is DEI hires at the FAA. Of course buttegg can't say that because thats how he got his job.

    1. What you're referring to is windshear detection at major airports for approaches and departures.

The enroute weather mentioned in this pathetic article are notices that have been transmitted from onboard airdata systems and inertial navs utilizing the hands free ACARS messages sent to either ARINC or SITA wx clearing and offered for real-time in-flight updates via ACARS WX subscriptions. Been this way since the late 80s. All domestic, NATS, and Pacific routes have lots of traffic, so this data is usually no more than 10 minutes old, most of it less than 2.

  5. I like his answer on spending 7.8 BILLION dollars and getting only 7 or 8 car charging stations.

    1. Elon Musk could build ten times more charging stations with the 'Interest' on 7.8 billion.
And he's African American so no DEI problem.

  6. The reason for his answer is because he thinks the American people are stupid. Correction. He knows most of the American people are stupid.

Not only is it climate change, but Butt-a-gig also informed us "climate change" affects women and blacks more than the rest of us.

  8. Youse guys got it all wrong. it was due to "climate change". The "climate" in the executive suite at boeing changed(more bean counters, fewer engineers) and so they started bringing in a more diverse workforce. Saved lots of money; increased their annual bonuses.
