What the fuck...

More than two years after police found the bodies of four infants — two boys and two girls — tucked inside a freezer within a home in Boston, Massachusetts, a district attorney has announced there will be no charges filed.

  1. Given the facts presented this is a rational decision. Almost certainly, the mother killed -or allowed the children to die from neglect. It's now 40-50 years later; father, dead. Mother, demented. Evidence to prove the elements of a crime will require extraordinary effort. Far better to spend money on a current crime. Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.
