There are recipies out there for "rough fish" like gar, carp, and snakehead. I know a guy that has a business taking people out on the lake at night bow fish rough, undesirable, and invasive fish and those guys are having too much fun. Texas game laws basically say that if you catch a carp you're supposed to kill it. Our problem around here in North Texas is becoming alligators. I can't figure out how they make it through the winter unless they're migrating seasonally. We've got some big'uns.

Gators will sink into a tupor and just lie on the bottom in mud during cold spells
DeleteSoutheast MO, under the dam, tells me they are in the Mississippi watershed. Maybe they'll make a dent in the Asian carp.
