#3, those bikes were from a slower time. Oh I used to ride one in college, theres not much of a break system on them. #9, prolly a POS ugly American tourist. The worst. Kenny, you picked some good-uns today. Bravo
College?! Is that where you learned how to spell "brake" system?... Seriously, just a literate dude with a GED. Get a refund on that tuition, they failed you.
#9 -- That gif specificially is an American tourist, yes, but there are tons of clips of all kinds of tourists from all over having this happen. The most recent one I'm aware of was from 2 weeks or so ago and it was an Indian lady in that one.
If only there were a big sign on the wall to warn people that the horses might kick or bite....
I am cursed with Left Hemispherical Disfunction. You should be glad you do not suffer it. I used my education as a means to support a family, and still use the foundational eduction as a volunteer at a state park. My time in college was paid for in various ways but mostly using the BEOG. My father was killed in government work at APG in 1969 supporting operations in SE Asia. My mother was smart and took advantage of a government annuity clause with his Army pension, then her’s, to add to my college ticket. So to be fair smart ass you fookin deserve the refund, go suck an egg you sound like you are perfect. Saber 7
#3 The douchebag cyclist on the high boy actually thought the truck was going to stop for him? Too bad he wasn't a little earlier or faster. The truck would have rolled right over him.
My Horse will Grab my arm when I'm finished Brushing him, but He doesn't think I should Stop. He gets the Hairbrush to the Nose, and everything is O.K. after that. Horse in the Gif was just an asshole, grabbing a Stranger like that. No Comment on the Soldier who just Watched.
The Queen's Guard doesn't give a shit. I've seen other videos. There's signs on the wall telling tourists not mess with the horse's reins or bridle. I would imagine that's what the woman did.
They are cavalry horses...The riding troop (in Britain and in Canada) still practice the "art of war" on horseback--the riders (armour--as in tanks--officers and enlisted) practice using the sword and/or lance, they do cavalry charges, and put the horses through their paces as a war horse. They teach their horses how to attack dismounted "soldiers" --like kicking someone behind you on command, biting strangers, etc. U.S. cavalry must have taught their war horses the same things--since they would've learned from the "best light cavalry in world"--the American Indian.
The horse and guard have literally nothing to do but stand there for hours and look forward to the chance to bite someone. Why make it easy for them by coming in range?

That looks like a stop line in the road based on what the bus does at the end of the clip, so the penny-farthing rider was at fault.
DeleteBecause it's London, the cyclist had the right of way. There's no stop line over there - the writing on the road says "keep clear".

#s 5 & 6: somebody's pay was docked
ReplyDelete#8 you think there was a driver in there
ReplyDeleteI think the driver bailed.
DeleteNo. Right before the car rolls and while the door is open you can see there's no driver .
DeleteLook at the last few seconds. The guy in the white tee just manages to stop feet from the drop off. He was the driver.
DeleteRight-hand drive.
Delete#8, One second later and he would have tumbled down a ways.
ReplyDelete#7 must be a Taurus
ReplyDeleteOr an amateur gunsmith
Delete# 1 Where's Curly ?
ReplyDelete# 7 At least he was holding it upright..........
#7 - Always check the barrel for patches after you clean your firearm.
