I agree. They run rampant, breeding, and creating a general nuisance. And the population keeps feeding them.
There's a federally managed colony for research on "Monkey Island" next door in Beaufort County. The monkey was an escapee, no doubt. And did a double take when I realized I was looking at our condo building (Bee St. Lofts) behind the newscaster.
Sounds a lot like the iguana problem in Flaraduh.
